This is the way we brought it home. Not much to look at but it was a five window. This truck spent many years hauling grain for a local farmer.

There was just a small pile left from the tear-down process.

The frame was not pretty. Would you like a good deal on a well used 6 cylinder? We kept it around for sentiment.

Being this was to be used as a tow vehicle we plated the frame and added a very solid hitch.

The Frame was not cut, we used a suspension from a 1978 One Ton GMC narrowing it to fit our 49 frame. The Rear Axle was swapped from a 2007 One Ton GMC Dually Van.

One of our Sales guys and street rodders, Scot Piper, built this heavy duty flatbed to keep with the vintage look of the truck. We added two 40 gallon fuel tanks from a new Kodiak truck for range and recessed in vintage beehive lights at the corners.
